Cyprus to hold large-scale military exercise

The Cypriot Ministry of Defence has announced that the annual manoeuvres code-named ‘Nikiforos’ will be carried out this year from October 18 to 23 and will cover the entire territory, sea and air space of the Republic of Cyprus.

The large-scale military exercise will be held under the command of the National Guard, with the participation of troops, reservists and other military units.

During the exercise, no unauthorised persons will be able to enter the areas where the manoeuvres are being held.
