Cypriot Ambassador presents credentials to non-proliferation CTBTO

The Permanent Representative of the Republic at the UN in Geneva, Kornilios Korniliou, has presented his credentials to the chief executive of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) Ambassador Tibor Toth.

Ambassador Korniliou reiterated the commitment of the Cyprus Republic to disarmament and the non-proliferation of nuclear arms. The Cyprus Republic has ratified the CTBT in July 2003.

The CTBT was adopted by the UN General Assembly on 24 April 1996.
