financialmirror.com evolves to 4th gen

The Financial Mirror web site, located at www.financialmirror.com, has evolved to its fourth generation since this newspaper introduced an on-line version, the first to do so almost ten years ago.

The main news section is now in three parts – Latest in Politics, Business & Finance, and IT/Telecom, with rolling news posted as they break throughout the day.

These items remain on the front page and later on the section pages for a few days, after which the leading news related to the Cyprus economy are stored in the Research Centre that focuses on three areas: Cyprus Economy (with company news, macro- and micro economic data, and other indicators), the Cyprus Stock Exchange (with news on public companies, announcements, analysis of dividend paying stocks, earnings reports, other indexes, mergers and acquisitions, etc.), and the Investment Tips section prepared by the Financial Mirror’s own experts on currencies and other international investments.

This search function of the Financial Mirror news archive is the result of hundreds of e-mails and letters from regular readers of the print edition and even frequent visitors to our previous sites, who needed information for research purposes. This is now available to subscribers only.

The daily electronic newspaper Xpress/Economiki is also available for free download in PDF format from the main page, while other commercial sections and services will also be available soon.

For now, just mark financialmirror.com as your home page and keep refreshing your page as news develops during the day.
