Laiki eBank, the electronic banking unit of Laiki Group, announced a new personal loan product, Laiki eLoan offering customers the flexibility to determine the loan terms based on each customer’s preferences.

Customers can choose the loan amount, the monthly installment, the repayment period and even the interest rate. “It’s the Do-It-Yourself of loans” is how Laiki is describing its service, tailor-made to each customer’s needs.

The personal eloans can be up to CYP 5.000 or CYP 20.000 in the event that deposits are blocked. The minimum interest rate is 6.5% with pledged deposits or 7.5% for unsecured eloans but repayable in two years while for repayments in excess of two years, the interest is 8.5%. Clients can access to the loans through Laiki Telebank (8000 2000) or via the Bank’s web site at www.laikiebank.com with the Bank guaranteeing a 60 second response time to the application with the proceeds available in the Laiki eChecking account of the client, the next working day.

Additionally, Laiki eBank has introduced an eTrading service offering direct access to the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE). Investors can connect directly through the Internet with the ASE, placing buy and sell orders on securities listed on the ASE, manage their personal portfolios and get real-time financial information and news.
