CYPRUS: Staroil celebrating 10 years

The Cypriot oil company Staroil is celebrating ten years of operation, launching a new slogan and a special anniversary logo. The company imports and distributes fuel directly to companies and individuals, and opened its first petrol station in Avgorou, in the Famagusta district.

Staroil now operates eight outlets in Nicosia, Larnaca, Paphos and Famagusta, with the most recent opening in March this year on Pefkou Street in Lakatamia.
Commenting on this milestone, Staroil CEO George Petrou said: “Having laid down solid foundations for Staroil, the completion of ten years of operations represents a special moment for us, a consolidated position in the market, and importantly, recognition that the company enjoys the respect and trust of consumers. Our success is based on a strategy we set in place from the very beginning, as well as the hard work and professionalism of our staff. As a token of our appreciation to our employees, and to all of Staroil’s collaborators, as part of our 10-year celebrations we are planning to honour all those who have contributed to our success”, he added.
As part of its 10-year celebrations, starting in July, Staroil will be running a 10-week competition at its petrol stations offering consumers prizes worth 25,000 euros.
