Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras will visit Cyprus later today.
Samaras will depart from Cyprus tomorrow night to Cairo to attend the Tripartite High Level meeting between Cyprus – Greece and Egypt on Saturday.

The meeting in Cairo is taking place to discuss ways of further boosting cooperation and relations among the three Mediterranean nations, and, from Nicosia’s perspective, as a bulwark against Turkish provocations inside Cyprus’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

Last week the foreign ministers of Cyprus, Greece and Egypt met in Nicosia as the row over rights to hydrocarbons in the eastern Mediterranean continued.
