CYPRUS: Petroleum sales drop in Jan-Sep

The total sales of petroleum products dropped 4.1%, during the period January – September, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the Statistical Service said on Wednesday.
In September, the total sales of petroleum products recorded an increase of 3.8% compared to the previous month, according to the figures.
A rise was recorded in the sales of asphalt, kerosene, gasoil (diesel), liquefied petroleum gases, gasoil low sulphur, heavy and light fuel oil.
On the contrary, a decline was observed in the provisions of aviation kerosene and gasoil for marine use.
The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded an increase of 12.8% compared to the previous month.
