CYPRUS: Industrial turnover index down 7.3% in May

The Cyprus Industrial Turnover Index decreased by 7.3% in May, compared to May 2013, and reached 77.8 units (base 2010=100), the Statistical Service Cystat announced.
It said that for the period January – May, the index showed a decrease of 9.9% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
In manufacturing, the index reached 75.2 units in May and recorded a decrease of 6.1% compared with the same month a year earlier.
