MFA urges Cypriot citizens to leave Syria immediately

Cyprus’ Foreign Affairs Ministry urges all Cypriot citizens who reside or visit Syria to leave the country immediately, in light of the deteriorating situation.

A travel advisory for the Syrian Arab Republic, issued Wednesday by the Ministry notes that due to the absence of a diplomatic mission of the Republic of Cyprus in Syria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is not able to provide direct consular assistance to Cypriot citizens.
