Greece quake felt in Cyprus

An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale on Monday afternoon and with an epicentre 90 kilometres south east of the Greek island of Rhodes, was felt as far as the Cyprus capital, Nicosia, some 400 kilometres away.
The quake was recorded at a depth of 50 kms and was felt in Nicosia, as well as the southern coastal towns of Limassol and Paphos.
The tremor was in the same area as another quake measuring 6.0 on June 10, according to the Geological Surveys Dept. of the Cyprus Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
