Cyprus Airways and Middle East Airlines sign co-sharing agreement

State-owned carrier Cyprus Airways and Middle East Airlines (MEA) of Lebanon have signed a co-sharing agreement for flights from and to Beirut.

According to a press release issued by Cyprus Airways on Thursday, the agreement has already been implemented and the flights from and to Beirut have increased to a total of 12 per week.

Cyprus Airways carries out 5 flights in the morning hours whereas MEA carries out 7 flights during evening hours.

The cooperation between the two carriers will increase the frequency of the flights to and from Beirut, giving the opportunity to travelers for daily getaways, the press release reads.
