Cyprus industrial production down 11.9% y/y in Sep

The industrial production index reached 96.4 (base 2005=100) in September, recording a decrease of 11.9% compared with September 2010.
For the period January – September 2011, the index recorded a decrease of 6.5% compared with the same period of the previous year.
For manufacturing, the index for September 2011 reached 89.8, recording a decrease of 10.5% compared with September 2010.
Meanwhile, the industrial output prices Index for October 2011 reached 132.4 (base 2005=100). recording an increase of 0.1% compared with September 2011.
For the period January-October 2011 the index rose by 4.8% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
For manufacturing, the output price index for October 2011 reached 122.5, recording an increase of 0.2% compared with September 2011.
