Cyprus tourism revenue up 10.7% in August

Revenue from tourism jumped by 10.7% over the year earlier to reach EUR 267.0 mln in August 2011 compared to EUR 241.1 mln in August 2010, according to the Statistical Service’s Passenger Survey.
For the period January – August 2011 revenue from tourism is estimated to have risen by 16% to EUR 1,218.4 mln compared with EUR 1,050.5 mln in the corresponding period of 2010
