Cyprus trips abroad rise by 4.8% in September

The Statistical Service reports that on the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, 110,199 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in September 2008 compared to 105,173 in the corresponding month last year recording an increase of 4.8%.
In September 2008 there was an increase of 17.2% in the trips of residents to Russia (from 6,299 in September 2007 to 7,380 in September 2008).
