KEO proceeds with massive recall of Ayios Nicholaos water Cyprus

KEO, one of the largest bottling companies of Cyprus with its own beer, water and wines divisions has proceeded with a massive recall of its flagship bottled mineral water “Ayios Nicholaos” as a preventive measure after its tests revealed the Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria in some batches of production.
The Health Authorities said the plastic bottles of 1.5 litres in the L14208 batch and expiring 28 September 2009 are affected and the harmful bacteria has been traced.
KEO said it is recalling all bottles and stopping production of Ayios Nicholas bottled water.
