Cyprus industrial output up 1% y/y in June

Industrial production in Cyprus rose in June 2008 by 1% compared with the same period of 2007, with the index (2000 = 100) reaching 124.6.
Compared with the previous month, the index rose by 3.5%.
Industrial production comprises manufacturing, electricity, gas and water, and mining and quarrying.
The manufacturing index for June 2008 reached 118.1, recording an increase of 1.4% compared with June 2007.
For the period January – June 2008, the index recorded a rise of 3.9% over the same period of the previous year.
