Raquel cigarette exports from Cyprus to reach EUR 8 mln

C.T.O. Public Co Ltd. (formerly Lemeco Silvex) has forecast that cigarette exports from Cyprus during 2008 will reach EUR 8 mln under its Raquel brand, which is now being marketed globally in Africa, the Middle East, former CIS states and south American countries.
C.T.O., which is also involved in the production and sale of hygienic paper products in Cyprus reported total turnover amounting to EUR 6.06 mln with operating profit at EUR 1.8 mln and net profit at EUR 1.36 mln. Earnings per share on total 139.27 mln shares in circulation of which 47 mln have been listed amounted to 9.8 euro cents. No comparable data are available for 2007 according to the company’s official filing with the Cyprus Stock Exchange.
