Cypriot FM to participate in GAERC meeting on South Ossetia

Minister of Foreign Affairs Markos Kyprianou will participate in the extraordinary EU General Affairs and External Relations Council, which will discuss the situation in South Ossetia.

According to a press release by the Cypriot Foreign Ministry, the EU – 27 Foreign Ministers will meet Wednesday in Brussels at the invitation of the French EU Presidency to discuss the situation in Georgia.

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner will brief his EU counterparts about his meetings in Moscow and Tbilisi.

OSCE Chairman-in-Office Alexander Stubb will also participate in the meeting.
