Cypriot appointed chairman of Jury in China 2008 Olympic Games

Chairman of the Cyprus Shooting Sport Federation, and of the ISSF Shotgun Committee, Demetris F. Lordos is in Beijing to undertake duties as chairman of the Jury in Trap, Skeet and Double Trap of the China 2008 Olympic Games.
Lordos was also chairman of the Jury at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004.
A statement by the Cyprus Shooting Sport Federation notes that Lordos’ appointment for the second time to the position, as well as his and other CSSF officials’ appointments in various posts at shooting events proves the prestige of Cyprus Shooting in the international sports arena.
Cyprus is participating in the shooting at 2008 Olympic Games with three athletes, George Achileos, Antonis Nicolaides and Andri Eleftheriou.
