Cyprus Education Fair opens on Thursday

With the participation of universities, technological education institutions and colleges from 18 countries, the 15th International Education Fair will take place between Thursday, February 28 and Sunday, March 2.

Education and Culture Minister Akis Cleanthous said some of the issues on which the Fair will focus are innovations introduced in the education of Cyprus, Europe and abroad, the work done in the educational institutions of Cyprus and the potentials for studies in Cyprus, Greece and other countries.

He also said that the aim of this fair continues to be to give educational and vocational information to students, parents and all others interested.

Loris Tryfon, Chairman of the Cyprus State Fairs Authority, said that Greece will take part in the fair with the Ministry of National Education and Religions, eight universities, 10 technological education institutions, three private colleges and two publishing houses. He said that Britain is represented at the fair with 57 universities and 10 colleges, while other countries are participating at the fair with 38 universities and 13 colleges.
