CYPRUS: Volunteer blood donation at VTT Vasiliko

Right before the commencement of operations of VTT Vasiliko Ltd (VTTV)’s oil storage terminal, the staff volunteered in a blood donation at the company’s facilities in Vasiliko, in an effort to support the collection of sufficient blood quantities for those in need.

The blood donation took place on Friday September 26, 2014 in collaboration with the Larnaka Blood Bank. This initiative marks the beginning of a tradition for the company, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
General Manager of VTTV, George Papanastasiou, stated: “As we are entering into the operating phase, we continue implementing activities to address important matters that challenge the society in which we operate in. I would like to warmly thank the Larnaka Blood Bank for their valuable help on this first blood donation and everybody who participated in it.”
The construction phase of the oil storage terminal will be completed soon and operations will commence with the arrival of the first ship.
