Austrian Airlines expands the range of flights on its Larnaca-Vienna route: Starting with April 26, 2013 Austrian Airlines will operate an additional flight during the summer season until the end of November, offering up to twelve flights a week on the route from Larnaca. With this improved offer, Austrian Airlines is continuing to build up its already significant presence in Cyprus and improves the connection of Larnaca to the Austrian network.
Austrian Airlines serves a total of 130 destinations in 55 countries this summer. In Vienna, passengers can transfer between flights in just 25 minutes. And because Vienna is Europe’s fastest transfer airport, taking a connecting flight with Austrian always saves its customers time.
New route to Chicago and more flights east
Austrian Airlines will be extending its North American product in the 2013 summer schedule: from 17th May, 2013 onwards, Austrian Airlines will be flying five times a week to Chicago, the largest city in the mid-western USA.
With seven extra flights a week to St. Petersburg (Russia), four extra flights a week to Chisinau (Moldova), one flight a week from Vienna to each of its destinations in Amman (Jordan), Yerevan (Armenia), Sibiu (Romania) and Skopje (Macedonia) and two flights a day to Košice (Slovakia) Austrian Airlines will strengthen its role as the most important specialist carrier to Eastern Europe offering the perfect East-West connection.
Austrian Airlines takes off with new long-haul cabin
At the moment Austrian Airlines is converting its entire long-haul fleet and installing a new modern cabin: all ten long-haul aircraft of the types Boeing 777 and 767 are to be given new, modern Economy Class seats, an improved inflight entertainment system, and innovative seats in Business Class which can be transformed into full-flat beds.
The new fittings mean passengers travelling Economy Class on long-haul flights will have the opportunity to enjoy an entirely new level of seating comfort. In Business Class, meanwhile, the new seats will offer a persuasive mix of intuitive operation, a built-in massage function, and extra storage space. The excellent standard of reclining comfort offered to passengers by the new seats is thanks to their innovative combination of an air cushion system and the option to convert them into full-flat beds. An all-new inflight entertainment system offers a wide choice of the latest films, ensuring passengers enjoy non-stop inflight entertainment. And as before, the award-winning DO&CO service, with its inflight chef feature, will be provided for passengers’ culinary pleasure.
