Tourism revenue up 3.8% in 2010

Revenue from tourism performed better than arrivals in 2010, rising by 3.8% to EUR 1,549.8 mln compared with EUR 1,493.2 mln in the corresponding period of 2009.
Arrivals fo tourists in the same period rose by just 1.5% to 2,172,993
In December alone, the Passenger Survey showed that revenue from tourism reached EUR 40.9 mln, a fall of 4.2% compared with the EUR 42.7 mln recorded in the corresponding month of 2009.
