Cyprus industrial output slips again in November

The indeed of industrial production slipped for a second straight month in November, falling by 1.1% over the year earlier, having dropped by 3.6% in October.
The manufacturing subsector fell by 3.2% in the same period.
For the period January – November 2010, industrial production fell by 0.7% compared with the same period of the previous year, while the subsector of manufacturing fell by 3.4%.
By contrast, electricity supply rose by 2.7%. “water supply and materials recovery” rose by 19.2% and mining and quarrying rose by 12.3%.

Industry prices rise 3.9% in 2010
Meanwhile, the industrial output prices index for December 2010 rose by 0.2% compared with November 2010.
Manufacturing prices in the same period rose by 0.2%.
For the whole of 2010 the price index rose by 3.9% compared with 2009.
