Cyprus tourism arrivals rose 4% in Jan-Nov

On the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism rose by 2.3% to reach EUR 62.4 mln in November 2010 compared with EUR 61.0 mln in the corresponding month of the previous year.
For the period January – November 2010 revenue from tourism is estimated to have risen by 4.0% to EUR 1,508.9 mln compared to EUR 1,450.6 mln in the corresponding period of 2009.
This is a better comparative performance than arrivals: for the whole of 2010, tourism arrivals rose by just 1.5%.
