Cyprus motor registrations still down in January

The decline in car sales showed no let up in January, as the total number of motor vehicles registered declined by 22.6% over the year earlier to 3,448, from 4,456 in January 2009.
Registrations of private saloon cars decreased by 22.1% to 2,604 from 3,342 in January 2009.
For the whole of 2009, motor vehicle registrations fell by 25.7%.
