Cyprus Airways cancels flights to and from Greece due to strike

Cyprus Airways have announced the cancellation of their flights to and from Athens, Thessaloniki, and Heraklion – Rhodes scheduled for December 10th, due to the 24-hours strike that will take place on that particular day in Greece.

A Cyprus Airways press release says that air traffic controllers of Greece will also participate in the strike, which will affect air traffic in all Greek airports.

In total, 12 flights are being cancelled, eight to and from Athens, two to and from Thessaloniki, and two to and from Heraklion – Rhodes.

The Cyprus Airways call center, the Cyprus Airways offices as well as the tourist agencies began informing the 2,000 affected passengers, offering them the option to travel before or after the strike, the press release says.
