Interfund reports massive loss – Cyprus news

Interfund Pcl (INF.CY) reported a massive EUR 45.75 mln loss for the first nine months of 2008 compared to EUR 27.5 mln profits in the same period a year ago and EUR 25.45 mln for the whole of 2007.
Losses per share jumped to a staggering 80.79 euro cents per share from 49.74 euro earnings per share a year ago.
INF reported EUR 44.24 mln in revaluation and losses on its fast shrinking in value portfolio.
Shareholders’ funds fell to EUR 45.88 mln from EUR 101.1 mln a year ago with the value of investments held for trading diving to EUR 43 mln from EUR 97 mln a year ago.
