Amadeus, a global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, has recorded significant operations increase of over 11% during the first seven months of the year compared to the corresponding 2007 period, with its market share rising to 40.33%.
The company’s growth in Cyprus is largely due to Amadeus’ constant investment in providing pioneering and complete technological solutions, while at the same time taking into consideration the international trends and challenges faced by the Cyprus travel market.
The company’s local presence dates back to 1993, with the foundation of Amadeus Hellas, which automatically implemented the Cyprus service. In 1999, Amadeus Hellas proceeded to cooperate with the Cyprus company Skedasis Computer Systems Ltd.
Amadeus Hellas and Skedasis Computer Systems recentlyhosted a dinner party at a Nicosia restaurant, at the same time welcoming the new season.
In a brief speech, the CEO of Amadeus Hellas, Eva Karamanou pointed out that Amadeus Hellas has steadily progressed through a clearly implemented strategy, in Greece as well as Cyprus, by offering its clients the best services on its way to becoming the official No. 1 in all levels – from development and clientele to branding.
