Cypriot MPs in Berlin for EU meeting on agriculture

President of the Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources of the House of Representatives Yiannakis Thoma and Deputy President of the Committee Dinos Hadjinicolas will be departing for Berlin on Saturday, to participate in the meeting of presidents and deputy presidents of parliamentary committees on agriculture of EU member states, the European Parliament and candidate countries.

According to an official press release, the meeting will be held on May 20 and 21 at the German Bundestag.

The participants will discuss issues concerning agricultural development policies and renewable energy sources.

In the framework of the meeting, the participants will visit the Institute of Agricultural Engineering, where they will be informed on the use of renewable raw materials.
