Chief of Hellenic Police on official visit to Cyprus

Chief of the Hellenic Police Force, Police Lieutenant General Anastassios Dimoshakis arrives in Cyprus today on an official two-day visit, at the invitation of his Cypriot counterpart Charalambos Koulentis.
A police press release said the visit aims to further strengthen police cooperation between Cyprus and Greece in the framework of the Memorandum of Official Talks that was signed in August 2006 and the Agreement for Police Cooperation, signed between both countries in 1993.
Dimoshakis and Kolentis talks will focus on police issues of mutual concern.
During his visit in Cyprus, Dimoshakis will be received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Tassos Papadopoulos and meet with Minister of Justice and Public Order Sofoklis Sofokleous and Archbishop of the Church of Cyprus, Chrysostomos the II.
