Cyprus flights affected by bad weather in Europe

21 January, 2013

Heavy snowfall and bad weather conditions prevailing in many European countries continue to affect flights between Larnaca and the airports of Frankfurt and London.

According to Adamos Aspris, a spokesman for Hermes Airports, weather conditions affect in particular four flights, two departures and two arrivals from and to Frankfurt and London.

Aspris added that flights from and to Cyprus are subject to delays only, and so far there has not been any cancellation. The average time of delay is expected to last for about one-two hours, he said.

He noted finally that weather conditions seem to improve and the number of the affected flights is decreasing.
