HealthUnlocked, Social Network for Health Goes Global

‘LinkedIn for health’ allows people with health concerns to get answers in one place as well as give and receive support and connect with people with the same concerns as them

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- HealthUnlocked, a social network for health related information, today announces its global expansion. Known as the ‘LinkedIn for health’, HealthUnlocked provides an online platform for people to share their experiences of various health conditions, symptoms, treatments, and services.

The online global network is made up of over 500 patient organisations and health support charities, covering in excess of 750 health conditions and providing individuals with information and advice at their fingertips. It also provides an opportunity for people to start a new topic group about other health concerns which may not have yet been raised on the platform. HealthUnlocked already provides NHS Choices’ user-generated, interactive content via the communities section and now hopes to raise awareness and attract a wider audience who may not have known it existed.
