Burson-Marsteller Appointed Global Communications Partner by The Rezidor Hotel Group

BRUSSELS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Burson-Marsteller, a leading global public relations and communications firm, announced today that The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the five largest hotel companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and a member of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, has appointed the firm as its strategic communications and media relations partner.

The appointment of Burson-Marsteller is part of Rezidor’s commitment to implement an integrated communications strategy and strengthen its reputation across EMEA as a rising leader within the hospitality industry. The integrated communications strategy will focus on developing powerful and consistent stories for the group’s brands and creating a strong corporate story for the company as a whole.

To support the Rezidor Hotel Group’s decentralization journey in EMEA, the Burson-Marsteller and Rezidor core teams in Brussels will work closely with area teams to drive centrally coherent and regionally relevant communications activities and campaigns. Key support areas will include corporate communications, brand marketing, crisis communications, internal communications, social and digital activities and media relations for both the corporate brand and the group’s hotel brands, which include Radisson Blu, Park Inn by Radisson, the Quorvus Collection and Radisson Red.

“These are exciting times for Rezidor,” said Renu Snehi, Senior Director of PR, Brand & Marketing Communications at the Rezidor Hotel Group. “Following an incredibly successful growth period for the company, a new leadership team, global alignment of our brands and a firm commitment to improving profitability, we were looking for a reputed international partner to help evolve the way we communicate and tell our story in a powerful way. Burson-Marsteller stood out from the other agencies because of the passion and expertise of their people, combined with a truly integrated approach to communications, and an extensive global presence in our key markets across EMEA.”

“We are delighted to be working with the Rezidor Hotel Group,” said Burson-Marsteller’s EMEA Chief Operating Officer Katarina Wallin Bureau. “As part of WPP plc, the world’s most comprehensive communications services group, Burson-Marsteller brings more than 60 years of experience in offering strategic insights and innovative programs to build and sustain strong corporate and brand reputations.
