SKF awarded Technical cooperation award by Goldwind

Long-term relationship continues to be successful

SKF has been awarded the Technical cooperation Award by Goldwind, the largest manufacturer of wind turbines in China and among the largest globally. The award was received during Goldwind’s Annual Supplier Conference.

Goldwind and SKF have worked closely together for many years which has resulted in advanced technology being developed at the same time as the demand for the clean energy provided by wind turbines has rapidly increased in China. During 2013, SKF has been fully involved in the development of Goldwind’s 1.5MW, 2.0MW, 2.5MW and 3.0MW main shaft bearing for wind turbines. SKF products and solutions delivered to Goldwind include bearings, WindCon condition monitoring, seals, lubrication systems and lubricants.
