Low-cost carrier EasyJet has launched a twice-weekly route between Cyprus and Switzerland, connecting Larnaca and Basel every Tuesday and Saturday.
The tickets on the flights operated on board an Airbus A319 are selling upwards of €69.99 each way.
This is the tenth route operated by EasyJet since it first started flying to Paphos in 2008, with passenger volume expected to reach 670,000 this year, an increase of 14% from the 2013 figures, said Regional Ground Operations Manager Stefanos Vakirtzis.
