The Industrial Turnover Index for August 2009 reached 98.8 units (base 2005=100), recording a decrease of 10.3% compared to August 2008.

According to the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus, for the period January-August 2009, the index recorded a decrease of 10.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.

For Manufacturing, the index for August 2009 reached 88.9 units, recording a decrease of 8.4% compared to August 2008.
